01 · GoFundMe campaign film

A campaign film for a Kensington barber program — and it actually hit its number.

Empowering Cuts is a non-profit in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood that uses barbering as a vehicle for mentorship and stability. I directed and produced their GoFundMe campaign film — built to fund the next year of programming.

The brief was straightforward but the bar was high — non-profit campaign videos usually swing between sentimental and cynical, and we needed to do neither. The film leaned on the actual voices of the kids and barbers in the shop, with very little narration. The campaign hit its funding goal.

02 · Short-form social piece

A short cut that kept the program visible long after the GoFundMe closed.

One of two social-first pieces — tighter, paced for in-feed viewing, designed to keep the campaign visible across the donation window and beyond.

03 · Second social piece

A second short, different beats, same brand world.

Companion to the first social cut — different testimony, different rhythm, still anchored in the shop and the voices inside it.
